- Shell Lubes Analyst – One of the key project of Shell B2B reporting to Shell program director. Shell Lubricants has revamped its Shell Lube Analyst oil analysis program that helps customers improve equipment and vehicle reliability and reduce maintenance costs. The upgraded Shell Lube Analyst program provides an online user interface that offers a worldwide sample history and failure trends on various types of equipment and engine types. The program offers a scientific approach to preventive maintenance.
- Shell Chemical – SAP BW 3.5 Group Consolidation/Management Reporting development – The purpose of the project was to move all functions from obsolete, non-BW based Group Reporting and Chemicals Management Reporting systems, into SAP BW as well as to implement a reconciliation mechanism between both views on the same data. Program Manager for Shell
Downstream - Shell started its first off-shoring journey with IBM IGSI in 2005. As a program manager for Shell European Oil Product (SEOP) built up the offshore delivery model out of Bangalore to service all its European customers.
Responsibilities:
- As a program manager in IBM had to set up the stage for managing one of the largest SAP Oil and Gas project to be delivered in offshore-onshore model.
- One of the major challenges was to set up SAP IS Oil and Gas competency in IBM India. Had to build up Competency Centre by setting up joint training with SAP Bangalore, SAP Germany and Shell.
- Jointly work with Shell to develop a SOW (Statement of Work) covering all the verticals of Shell across geographies, covering almost all major technologies.
- Key stake holder management in London, Netherland and Houston to develop confidence in offshore-Onshore model and also jointly support their GSAP design phase.
- Recognition - In 2006 we reached a major milestone by supporting SEOP for 180 days of uninterrupted service as one of the major “customer delight” with a core team of 60 SAP professionals. By end of 2006 IBM IGSI was responsible to support the GSAP design and blueprint with a core team of 22 SAP professionals. GSAP was one of the largest SAP project undertaken by any Oil and Gas company so far.

- Qatar Petroleum – Delivered SAP end user training to more than 1200 employees in various SAP modules using client and simulation-based environment, using SAP tutor and RWD info- Pak.
- Petronas – In 2004, Petronas extended its purchasing by integrating a supplier portal to its legacy SAP system. It was initially implemented in 4 OPU’s with 300 key suppliers. The total implementation time taken including customization, integration, supplier enablement and training was 6 weeks. The portal is now known as Petronas eProcurement Portal which caters to 20 OPU’s and its suppliers visibility, transparency and efficiency in their business transactions.
